It has taken awhile but the 1324 side of the Duck Building has it's own mailboxes . . and yesterdays collection of mail art was an interesting assortment of pieces to add to the inaugural opening . . . sometimes it's the small things in life . . . Onward

Celtic Mail Goddess has made it to the blog . . she's been keeping me company at the computer desk . . onto new duties now . . guardian of the collection. Hard to imagine a year has gone since the last Mailmania event . . This year will pass quickly I'm sure. As it stands now the exhibition will happen at Studio J (The Duck Building) 1324 Broad St, Victoria on the 18th of September 2008 . . (one year of collecting to go!) with opening nite planned for Thursday the 18th 7:00 - 9:00 PM.

More on that as time progresses.

Jazzgoil has been busy with some amazing additions to the MM3 project. She's even causing a buzz at the post office . . I was mailing out a mail art piece the other day when the postal employee approaches me telling me all about mail art (Mailmania) and an amazing artist that has been doing mailings at that branch . . turns out to be Patti. I love those moments of crossover of paths. . . serendipity.
